This is what I call my 7-year lamp as it took me that long (and a bit) to finish it. Way back when, I had gotten my materials together and was ready to start. After I had cut out the pattern pieces, I accidentally broke some of my lily pad glass and then could not find any more of the same kind, which was beautiful. I kept looking, but no luck. Years went by and then the glass saw came on the market. I got one and was able to salvage enough glass with the saw to complete the lampshade. Anyway, it’s now finished and I’m very pleased.
