THE READERS' GALLERY

This window is for my sister-in-law’s house. The pattern, slightly adjusted to fit, is from Ultimate Images by Terra. It took me 13 months of my spare time but I did other projects and didn’t touch it for three months at one point. It’s my first window. I’ve been doing glass now for three years.
I videotaped the whole process piece-by-piece. I was hoping the tape would turn out like those that show flowers opening. Because the camera wasn’t always in the exact same place, it didn’t work like that but it turned into a neat journal of things that happened in my life in the last 13 months.
I had a lot of fun and learned a lot but I’m glad to have my large work table usable again.
