In my workshop, I use a secretary's desk with a typing return. After cutting the glass, the glass and the pattern are put on a piece of drywall on the desk top. My grinder is on the typing return, so you can sit while you are grinding, fitting, foiling and soldering. The drawers of the desk can be used to store your supplies.
